WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, October 2, 2019:
- An anonymous caller requested extra patrols in the Savers Parking Lot overnight due to the amount of trash being left in the parking lot. (8:52am)
- A Westdale Avenue caller reported two females entered her residence while she was on her couch. She yelled at them and they left the house. Police responded. A new home health aide was let in by a neighbor. (10:50am)
- A father called and stated that his son was beat up by an older male at Regency Place. Other involved party came to the station to file a report. Police spoke with all parties and no complaints were filed at this time. (3:11pm)
- Rychardson Oliveira (33, Everett) was issued a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle. (6:25pm)
- A 1-vehicle crash struck a pole near the Wilmington Congregational Church on MIddlesex Avenue. Route 62 was shutdown due to downed wires. Veirzon and RMLD notified. Fence to veteran’s section of cemetery damaged. Operator refused ride and decided to walk home to North Reading. Operator was cited for marked lanes, speed greater than reasonable, and operating to endanger. (11:08pm)
