Wilmington’s Richie Selig Completes Mill Cities Leadership Institute

Below is a press release from Reading Cooperative Bank, which has two branches in Wilmington:

READING, MA — Reading Cooperative Bank’s Richie Selig, Marketing Assistant, recently completed the Mill Cities Leadership Institute (MCLI) program in Lawrence, MA. MCLI is part of Lawrence Community Works, which unites community leaders with a goal of bringing social justice issues to light and finding a solution. This is achieved by discussing hot button topics and breaking down the walls around social issues.

“The Cities of Lawrence and Lowell have so much to offer,” said Selig. “I was so happy to be able to take part in MCLI and learn what I can do in my own community to help combat the social issues that we face in the world today.”

“MCLI is a great opportunity to make connections in developing cities like Lawrence and Lowell,” said Shanna Cahalane, Director of Marketing at Reading Cooperative Bank. “Richie has a passion for helping others, and MCLI is a great way to help channel that passion and make a difference.”
