WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, September 28, 2019:
- Police transferred call from an intoxicated, lost Uber passenger. Police assisted driver with setting correct destination in GPS. (3:12am)
- Police were flagged down by party stating there was a coyote running around the Cunningham Street area. (10:25am)
- A caller reported losing his wallet in the Wildwood Cemetery. (12:30pm)
- A 2-vehicle crash occurred in front of the Wilmington Congregational Church on Middlesex Avenue. Both vehicles towed. Air bag deployment. Injuries noted. Fire Department transported several of the injured. (2:43pm)
- Police received report of a fallen tree partially blocking the road on Fordham Road. Police notified DPW. (4:11pm)
- Patrick L. Wood (24, Melrose) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With Revoked Registration and Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Wood was pulled over at Main Street and Oakwood Road. (6:26pm)
- Police assisted male walking on Middlesex Avenue to get to Tewksbury Hospital. (9:44pm)
- A passerby reported a house covered in toilet paper on Apache Way. He tried to alert the homeowners, but to no avail. (10:57pm)
- Police checked on some juveniles out at Rotary Park. Juveniles were making a music video. Checked OK. (11:05pm)
- Anthony M. Celata (19, Wilmington) was issued a summons for Negligent Operation Of A Motor Vehicle, Speeding, Leaving Scene Of Property Damage, Marked Lanes Violation, Operating A Motor Vehicle In Violation Of License Class, and Using Motor Vehicle Without Authority. Celata crashed a motorcycle on Grove Avenue. (11:16pm)
