WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, September 24, 2019:
- A caller reported a vehicle pulled out of a driveway at a high rate of speed and nearly struck his vehicle on Shawsheen Avenue. Driver flipped off caller and continued on at high rate of speed. Police spoke with driver, who was a student at the Shawsheen Tech. Shawsheen Tech Student Resource Officer and student’s parents were also notified. (7:10am)
- Animal Control Officer was able to get a bat out of a house on Shawsheen Avenue. (11:36am)
- A Deming Way Ext. caller reported someone entered her vehicle and broke a key off in her vehicle ignition, preventing the vehicle from being started. (11:56am)
- Vehicle struck a pedestrian on Jonspin Road. Driver cited for failure to use care at an intersection and failure to slow for pedestrian. (12:25pm)
- Mark Maselli (52, Wilmington) was arrested for OUI Liquor, Negligent Operation Of A Motor Vehicle, and Texting While Operating A Motor Vehicle. Maselli struck a pole on Linda Road. (9:17pm)
