POLICE LOG for September 22: Suspicious Driver Turns Out To Be Delivering Newspapers; Surprise On Front Lawn

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, September 22, 2019:

  • A vehicle pulled into three homes on Fairmont Avenue, went to the doors, and pulled away. Police stopped vehicle at Church Street and Adams Street. Driver was a newspaper delivery driver. All clear. (3:14am)
  • A Cushing Drive caller reported sometime overnight, a metal table top was placed on their front lawn. No damage done, but wanted incident logged. (7:28am)
  • Police observed a vehicle with two parties pulled over by the salt sheds on Federal Street. Parties were former residents attending a 40th reunion who were having a cigarette because they couldn’t smoke in their vehicle. (7:28pm)
