#1) Wilmington Farmers Market WITH BABY GOATS

The Wilmington Farmers Market will be open this Sunday, September 22, 2019, from 10am to 1pm, on the Swain Green, across from the Town Common, at 140 Middlesex Avenue.

#2) WHS Girls Hockey Car Wash

he Wilmington High School Girls Hockey Team will be holding a Car Wash Fundraiser from 9am to 1pm in the Fourth of July Building’s parking lot. Donations accepted.

#3) St. Thomas & St. Dorothy’s Donation Drive

The Parish of the Transfiguration’s Charities Committees will be holding its annual collection to benefit the Mission of Deeds during all masses on Saturday, September 21, 2019 and Sunday, September 22, 2019. Donations may dropped off at Villanova Hall on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 3:30pm to 6:30pm, and Sunday, September 22, 2019, from 7am to 1pm.

The Mission of Deeds serves families and individuals throughout Middlesex and Essex counties. Those helped include veterans, previously homeless, survivors of domestic abuse, refugees, the elderly, victims of fire and other tragedies, and those with disabilities.

Requested items include:

  • Kitchen: Pots & Pans, Silverware, Glasses, Mugs, Baking Pans, Mixing Bowls, Coffee Makers/Tea Kettles, Toasters/Toaster Ovens, Blenders/Mixers, Dish Towels/Pot Holders
  • New Linens: Bed Pillows, Twin Size Sheets, Twin Size Blankets, Twin Size Comforters, Full/Queen Sheets, Full/Queen Blankets, Full/Queen Comforters, Towels, Face Cloths
  • Household: Lamps, Microwaves, Vacuums, Framed Art Work, Clocks/Alarm Clocks, Irons/Ironing Band, Fans
  • Children: Books, DVDs, Toddler Beds, Pack ‘N Plays

#4) Middlesex Canal Museum Open

The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm.  Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
