POLICE LOG for September 16: Crash On Butters Row Bridge; Motorcyclist Strikes Pedestrians

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, September 16, 2019:

  • A caller reported a male party walking northbound on Main Street in the middle of the road, carrying a bottle of beer. Police found the man exiting the woods near Koch Membrane. Male checked OK. He was a carrying soda bottle. He was staying at a nearby hotel in Woburn. (1:10am)
  • A tractor trailer unit took down wires on Ballardvale Street. Traffic lights at Ballardvale and Route 125 were out. RMLD, Verizon, and Comcast notified. (2:07am)
  • A motorcyclist struck two pedestrians on Andover Street. No injuries noted. (3:42pm)
  • A one-vehicle crash occurred on Butters Row Bridge. Vehicle struck support columns on the right side. Appeared to be no structural damage, but MassDOT contacted for inspection. (8:20pm)
