WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington senior Audrey Reed will facilitate a conversation for those interested in a new senior center this Friday, September 20, 2019, from noon to 1pm, at the Buzzell Senior Center. A light lunch will be served. For planning purposes, interested parties are encouraged to sign up at the Center’s Front Desk.
Reed has also placed a “Suggestion Box” in the Senior Center’s main lobby for any resident who would like to contribute an idea on how to make a new senior center a reality.
Reed also encourages seniors to attend the Wilmington Facilities Master Plan Committee Meeting on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 7pm at the Wildwood Early Childhood Center. Selectmen, School Committee, Finance Committee, and Facilities Master Plan Committee will begin a discussion on prioritizing the community’s facility needs.
