WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, September 14, 2019:
- Andrew E. Gonzalez (27, Lowell) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License and Marked Lanes Violation. Gonzalez was pulled over on Ballardvale Street. (12:32am)
- A car struck a pole on Shawsheen Avenue. Car towed. No injuries noted. Pole snapped at base. RMLD and Verizon notified. Driver cited for speed and marked lanes violation. (5:32am)
- A male party stated his trash barrel was stolen from his Pouliot Place residence. (4:07pm)
- A Lockwood Road caller reported a suspicious male in the woods behind her home. Police responded. Male party stated he was out in the woods chasing deer. (6:38pm)
- Police documented that the train was blocking the roadway at North Wilmington station. (8:58pm)
- An Uber driver said his passengers opened a beer in his vehicle. When he attempted to drop them off on Sarafinas Way, they call him a “terrorist” and ripped the cover off his seat. (9:38pm)
