POLICE LOG for September 13: Intoxicated Driver?; Bike Stolen; Bunny Stuck In Soccer Net

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, September 13, 2019:

  • An employee at RSK Marble & Granite on Main Street reported fraudulent credit card activity. (9:33am)
  • Police notified DPW of a sink hole forming in the corner of a parking lot on Middlesex Avenue. (9:58am)
  • A Woburn Street school employee reported finding a female in a sweatshirt with no shoes in the playground area of the school while the kids were outside at recess. Employee asked female to move along. (10:42am)
  • Police issued a verbal warning for failure to yield to pedestrian in a crosswalk in front of Market Basket. (10:51am)
  • Police assisted the Fire Department with a mulch fire outside of Market Basket. (12:54pm)
  • State Police notified Wilmington Police that a caller was following her mother’s vehicle and suspected her mother was intoxicated. Mother ran a red light on Middlesex Avenue and caller lost track of her. Police were unable to locate. (3:46pm)
  • A Woburn Street caller reported his bicycle was stolen from his front yard while he went to pick up his children. (4:03pm)
  • A caller reported a bunny was stuck in a soccer net on Columbia Street. Police was able to release the bunny, which hopped away. (4:43pm)
  • A King Street caller reported a vehicle drove over his lawn and moved large rocks out of place. (10:31pm)
