Wilmington Substance Abuse Coalition Launches Book Club; Author Visit Set For October 3

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Substance Abuse Coalition is launching a book club.

The “Recovery & Allies Book Club” is holding its kick-off event with author Jasmine Grace on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 7pm at the Banyan Treatment Center in Wilmington (66K Concord Street).

Grace will discuss her book, “The Diary of Jasmine Grace,” where she documents her life of “trafficked, recovered, redeemed” in a collection of powerful and personal journal entries.

The book club will meet the first Thursday of every other month at 7pm. The club is open to all individuals in recovery and allies of recovery. The club will read “The Diary of Jasmine Grace” for its December meeting. Future books will be announced at the end of the October meeting.
