Wilmington Residents Invited To Tewksbury’s Fall Harvest Festival On September 29

TEWKSBURY, MA — The below press release is from the Tewksbury Public Events and Celebrations Committee:

The Tewksbury Public Events and Celebrations Committee (TPEC) is pleased to announce that it will host its 6th Annual Fall Harvest Festival on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from noon to 5pm at the Livingston Field Recreation Complex.

TPEC is bringing a variety of food, fun, and entertainment to this year’s harvest festival. If you have attended in years past, you will see some familiar faces in Rattlesnake Alley and Wicked Cornhole. In addition to the live musical entertainment and several Tewksbury businesses, we have confirmed nearly a dozen food vendors, including Crispelli USA, Pete’s Pushcarts, and Mimzee’s Ice Cream.

There will be several rides for the kids (or kids at heart!) including thrill rides, family-friendly roller coasters, train rides for the little ones, and more. Unlimited-ride bracelets can be purchased for $10.00 per person. Individual ride tickets can also be purchased for $2.00 each or three tickets for $5.00. All rides are cash only.

If rides are not your thing, there will be kids pie-eating contests, pumpkin decorating, and fall-themed lawn games. You can enjoy some live jazz music while you peruse over 60 craft vendors ranging from homemade jams to handmade clothing. You can also visit some baby animals brought to you by Krochmal Farm!

Parking will be available at the Tewksbury State Hospital with FREE shuttle buses to the
festival. Parking on Livingston Street is limited to vendors, volunteers, and handicapped placarded vehicles. Livingston Street will be closed to through traffic during the festival.

This event is sponsored by TPEC with the generous support of Salem Five Bank, Tewksbury Country Club, Tewksbury Police Athletic League, Competitive Edge Realty, Tewksbury Florist & Greenery, Wamesit Lanes, Schlott Tire, and Route 38 Tattoo.

The Tewksbury Public Events and Celebrations Committee formed in 2014 to coordinate family friendly community events. These events encourage Tewksbury residents and those from surrounding towns to socialize with neighbors, meet new friends and showcase local talent and businesses. If you are interested in joining the committee or volunteering at an event, please contact tewksburyevents@gmail.com.
