WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, September 10, 2019:
- Police issued handicap parking violation on Avalon Drive. (2:10am)
- Police received a call about a man yelling outside on Glen Road. Police responded and located an elderly man on the ground. Fire Department transported the man to the hospital. (3:29am)
- Police issued a verbal warning for passing a school bus with its lights illuminated on Wildwood Street. Driver was also advised about the procedures of school drop off. (8:52am)
- A caller reported a large truck took down the Birch Road street sign. Police notified DPW. (12:10pm)
- A caller reported an 18-wheeler struck her vehicle on Ballardvale Street and kept driving. She followed the truck to the Market Basket warehouse in Andover. (1:03pm)
- Police assisted State Police with a 2-vehicle crash at 93 North Exit 40 ramp. At least one of the vehicles truck the guardrail. No injuries noted. (4:07pm)
- Police noted the Taft Road street sign is missing. (9:26pm)
- Juvenile walked away from Milestone Group Home on High Street. Police entered into NCIC. (11:42pm)
