WILMINGTON, MA — Below is a recent announcement from the Wilmington Recreation Department:
With the WRBL season just around the corner, the Recreation Department is currently seeking coaches for our basketball teams for this upcoming season. Parents, older siblings and high school students are all welcome to join (although, anticipated high school basketball PLAYERS should consider Refereeing or Scorekeeping as team requirements conflict with the WRBL schedule).
New Student Coaches are required to attend one of our two free Basketball Coaches Clinics. They are held on September 25 or October 1 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. However, all coaches are welcome to attend the Clinic to learn to run an effective practice and ensure a successful, fun season for the players.
To register for any of our programs, please visit www.wilmingtonma.gov/recreation, call 78-658-4270, or stop by Town Hall, Room 8, from Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
