WILMINGTON, MA — Sheila Duncan, founder of The Kennek Foundation, announced the Fifth Annual Trouble The Dog Motorcycle Ride will take place on Sunday, September 15, 2019.
The motorcycle ride, escorted by the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office, will benefit first responders and the children they serve. The scenic ride will start and end at Shriners Auditorium in Wilmington (99 Fordham Road).
Tickets are only $20 per rider, which includes coffee and doughnuts, and full lunch after the ride. There will be music, a cash bar, food and prizes.
Proceeds from the ride help to place Trouble The Dog plush K-9 dogs in police cruisers, fire trucks, and ambulances to help first responders provide a source of comfort to children in the event of an accident, fire, domestic situation or other emergency. Trouble plush K-9 dogs are a source of comfort that children need in times of crisis.
Representatives from police and/or fire departments will be participating from Boston, Revere, Saugus, Salem, Wilmington, Marblehead and other communities.
Suggested donation is $20 per rider, $10 per passenger, and $20 for walk-ins.
All are welcome. Motorcycle not required for participation. Sign in and on-site registration starts promptly at 10am., with kickstands up at 11am.
