WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, September 2, 2019:
- Police notified DPW of a sinkhole opening near Boutwell Street and Roosevelt Road. Traffic cones were placed in the interim. (1:02am)
- Police reported increased evidence of beer cans and fire pits on top of hill at Town Park/Aprile Field on Main Street. (10:35am)
- A walk-in party reported his recycling bin went missing. Police notified DPW. (12:46pm)
- Police notified DPW of a downed street sign on Middlesex Avenue. (1:43pm)
- Police noted the left side woodline at the Town Hall’s Palmer Park was tagged with spray paint. (1:47pm)
- Police received a 911 hangup. On call back, mother reported her son was playing with the phone. Police responded and confirmed accidental call. (9:31pm)
- Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout at Sonny’s Mobil on the Run on Lowell Street. (11:33pm)
