WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Community Television is holding its Annual Family Fun Day this Sunday, September 8, from 10am to 1pm, at Yentile Farm.
“This is WCTV’s way of saying thanks to the community for their support,” said Executive Director Shaun Neville. “The event is free and open for all Wilmington families.”
Families can expect free balloons, face-painting, popcorn, and music.
The event will also feature demonstrations from local dancers, cheerleaders, and martial arts students:
- Precision Dance students will perform around 10:30am.
- Wilmington Pop Warner Cheerleaders will perform around 11am.
- Iron Clad Martial Arts students will perform around 11:30am.
Last year, the Wilmington Fire Department came by with a Fire Truck, and the neighborhood ice cream truck made an appearance.
“Parents and children can also meet WCTV staff and learn more about our membership and youth programs,” added Neville.
After the event, families are encouraged to take part in the Wilmington Grandparents Day Celebration from 1pm to 3pm at the park. Organized by the Wilmington Senior Center, the event will feature a Zumba Class, a Tai Chi Class, refreshments, and prizes.
