WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, August 22, 2019:
- A calling party reported several children were running around the neighborhood and ringing doorbells. Police spoke with the children’s parents about the behavior. Police will pass the information along to the middle school’s school resource officer. (2:43am)
- Chansouk Joy Chanthavong (39, Lowell) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. Chanthavong was pulled over on Hopkins Street. (6:49am)
- 4-vehicle crash occurred on Ballardvale Street. Airbag deployment. No injuries. At least 2 vehicles towed. (8:50am)
- Employee of Regency Place had to evict a tenant and the tenant left behind her cat. She will hold on to the car until hearing back from the Animal Control Officer. (9:35am)
- Caller reported an injured goose, possibly with a broken wing, on Charlotte Road. (12:43pm)
- A deceased turkey was located on a Middlesex Avenue home’s front lawn. (2:54pm)
- A caller reported a strong odor of marijuana at the Town Hall’s football field. Police responded, spoke with the reporting party, and checked the area. Nothing found. (7:00pm)
