#2) COMING UP: Indian Classical Dance Workshop & Performance

Enjoy an evening with acclaimed Indian Classical dance artist Kohal Das, who will hold a workshop and performance on Friday, August 23, 2019, from 6pm to 8pm, at the Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street). Das is presently a research fellow at Tufts University and has extensive performing experience in India for both Odissi and Bharatnatyam styles. A reception will follow. #3) COMING UP: Wilmington Family To Give Ice Cream Away At Yentile Farm In Memory Of Their Child

The family of Julian George Cayer, who passed away on May 1st at 8 months old, would like to celebrate what would have been his first birthday by hosting a free ice cream truck event on Sunday, August 25, 2019, from 1pm to 3pm, at Yentile Farm Park (9 Cross Street). While supplies last. Julian had an infectious smile and his family would like to pass smiles along to the community.

#4) COMING UP: Car Show At Shriners Auditorium

The Aleppo Shriners are holding their fifth annual Car Show on Sunday, August 25, 2019, from 10am to 2pm, at the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Street). Proceeds will benefit the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children. Admission is free to the public. The event includes music, prizes, food and a 50/50 raffle. Registration for show vehicles begins at 9am.
