POLICE LOG for August 17: Parking & Traffic Issues; Lost Wallet; Brush Fire

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, August 17, 2019:

  • Police conducted parking enforcement in front of Market Basket and moved several vehicles along. (10:59am)
  • Police extinguished a small brush fire on Ballardvale Street. (12:32pm)
  • Caller reported a lost wallet in the area of Rocco’s, likely lost on August 9. Credit card companies already contacted. (1:17pm)
  • Police received a report of a black jeep traveling at a high rate of speed, almost striking a transit bus on Main Street. Police were unable to locate. (3:01pm)
  • Police secured an open manhole cover that was causing a traffic hazard at Church Street and Adams Street. (4:34pm)
