#1) Wilmington Senior Center Activities

The Wilmington Senior Center is holding its usual Tuesday activities — Walking Group (8am); Zumba (9am); Aerobics (10:30am); Mah Jongg (1pm); Tai Chi (1pm); and Gentle Yoga (2:30pm).

#2) Angels In Motions Meeting

Angels In Motion meets every Tuesday, from 9:30am to 2:30pm at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (112 Middlesex Avenue).  The club provides a great opportunity for seniors to meet new friends or reacquaint with old ones. A luncheon is served as noon.  Free. Handicapped accessible.

#3) COMING UP THIS WEEKEND: Wilmington Family To Give Away Ice Cream In Memory Of Their Child At Yentile Farm

The family of Julian George Cayer, who passed away on May 1st at 8 months old, would like to celebrate what would have been his first birthday by hosting a free ice cream truck event on Sunday, August 25, 2019, from 1pm to 3pm, at Yentile Farm Park (9 Cross Street). While supplies last. Julian had an infectious smile and his family would like to pass smiles along to the community.

#4) COMING UP THIS WEEKEND: Shriners Auditorium To Host Huge Car Show 

The Aleppo Shriners are holding their fifth annual Car Show on Sunday, August 25, 2019, from 10am to 2pm, at the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Street). Proceeds will benefit the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children. Admission is free to the public. The event includes music, prizes, food and a 50/50 raffle. Registration for show vehicles begins at 9am. #5) COMING UP THIS WEEKEND: Wilmington Youth Hockey To Hold ‘Drop The Puck’ Street Hockey Tournament Fundraiser

The Friends of Wilmington Hockey will hold its 2nd Annual Drop The Puck fundraiser on Sunday, August 25, 2019, from 3pm to 7pm, at the Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks (777 South Street). The event includes a street hockey tournament fundraiser, which begins at 4pm. (Registration has closed for the tournament.) The evening will include games, prizes, music and a cash food and bar. All beverages — including bottled water, juice, etc. — must be purchased from the bar. No coolers allowed. Please understand this is not a drop off event.
