WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, August 3, 2019:
- Police noted the lights are activated and the arms are stuck in the upright position at the railroad crossing at Main Street and Middlesex Avenue. Keolis responded and repaired the signals. (1:27am)
- A caller reported deceased turkeys in the roadway on Main Street. (11:14am)
- Two vehicles parked in the back parking lot of Target took off when an officer approached. The plate on the Honda Accord came back as belonging to an SUV. Police checked area but were unable to locate vehicles. (5:19pm)
- A walk-in party reported a hit & run in the Tremezzo parking lot while she was inside the restaurant. Unknown party left a note on her vehicle with suspect vehicle’s information. Police made contact with other driver. She admitted she tapped the vehicle but did not observe any damage. Police observed minor damage to the front bumper and assisted with paperwork exchange. (7:46pm)
- Patrick Bussey (21, Methuen) was issued a summons for resisting arrest. Police noticed Bussey pushing two bicycles on Main Street. He had a warrant out on him. He took off on foot. Billerica and Tewksbury Police notified. State Police sent a trooper in the area to assist. (11:24pm)
- Police received a report of a right in the RMA Fitness parking lot. Police responded. No fight. Two males and two females were in the lot running around and joking. (11:53pm)
