POLICE LOG for July 29: 2 Men Arrested On Warrants; Tree Falls On 5 Cars At Town Hall; Highway Crash

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, July 29, 2019:

  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred on 93 South, prior to Exit 38. A trailer flipped causing a truck to jackknife. Rock debris was all over the roadway. Driver’s arm suffered an injury. Fire Department, Mass Highway, and State Police notified. (12:39pm)
  • Benjamin H. Jewell (42, Lynn) was arrested on a warrant. (1:22pm)
  • A tree fell on five vehicles in the Town Hall parking lot. Tree Department/DPW responded. No injuries reported. (7:24pm)
  • A Pouliot Place caller reported a loud bang in the area, believed to be a gunshot. Police responded and spoke to several residents, all pointing in different directions. Nothing was found during a sweep of the area. (9:57pm)
  • Timothy Bradley (47, Wilmington) was arrested on a warrant. (11:01pm)
