#1) Concert on the Common: 60’s Invasion
The 2019 Wilmington Concerts on the Common series concludes this Wednesday, July 31, 2019, from 6:30pm to 8pm, with 60’s Invasion.
his show band features the music of the sixties. Sit back as the band takes you back to the days of Elvis, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, and more. Music, trivia, nostalgia — it’s all sixties!
Admission is free of charge. Bring your chairs/blankets and relax to the sweet sounds of summer. The Wilmington Band Parents Association will be selling concessions. Organized by the Wilmington Recreation Department.
#2) DEADLINE: Open Space Committee
Starting this fall, the Town of Wilmington will be updating its Open Space & Recreation Plan.
The Open Space & Recreation Plan provides an inventory of the Town’s open space and outlines open space goals and action items for the next five years.
If you are interested in serving on the Open Space Committee to help update the Plan, please submit an application to the Town by July 31, 2019.

#3) PJ Storytime
The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a PJ Storytime at 6:30pm. Wear your snuggly pajamas and bring your favorite teddy bear or blanket and enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and more! Ages 2-5 and one or more adults.
#4) Book Store Next Door Open
The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 6pm (extended summer hours). All books are $2 or less! Every penny of every sale benefits the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
#5) Car Seat Installs At Public Safety Building
The Wilmington Police Department offers safety seat installs at the Wilmington Public Safety Building (1 Adelaide Street) every Wednesday, 10am-2pm. No appointment is necessary, but calling ahead at 978-658-5071 is recommended. Learn more HERE.
