WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, July 18, 2019:
- Animal Control Officer assisted M&M Chimney attempting to receive remove baby raccoons from a Morningside Drive home’s chimney. (10:44am)
- Animal Control Officer picked up injured rabbit from a Pouliot Place yard. (1:49pm)
- A 2-vehicle crash at West Street and Industrial Way incurred. Airbag deployment. Both vehicles towed. Both operators refused medical attention. (3:32pm)
- Police received report of a pest control company going door-to-door on a segway. Police advised salesman of procedure for soliciting. (6:28pm)
- A caller reported that her cat may have gotten stuck in the walls that they had plastered earlier. They can hear the cat but are unable to find it. Police and Fire responded. Fire was able to reunite the cat with its owners. (6:43pm)
- During a check of the cemetery, police came across a man playing Pokemon Go in the back of the cemetery. He was sent on his way. (10:23pm)
- A customer claimed they walked into the Dunkin Donuts on Main Street and there was no employee in sight. Customer called out but no one answered. Police responded and found an employee in the store working. (10:31pm)
