POLICE LOG for July 16: Billerica Woman Arrested; Coyote Den?; Senior Scammed

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, July 16, 2019:

  • 2-vehicle crash on Woburn Street. No injuries noted. Police notified DPW to sweep up debris from roadway. (7:01am)
  • Animal Control Officer checked for a possible coyote den next to the Woburn St. School field. Den appeared to be old. (8:39am)
  • Train at North Wilmington Train Station was blocking the roadway on Middlesex Avenue. (9:33am)
  • Amanda Leigh Fay (34, Billerica) was arrested on warrants. She was also cited for unregistered motor vehicle and no inspection sticker. (2:53pm)
  • A Deming Way caller reported giving her social security and date of birth to a telephone scam. (4:35pm)
  • A walk-in party reported a wasp nest by the bench near the pond at Rotary Park. (7:10pm)
