#1) Disney’s Frozen Jr. At Wilmington High
The Children’s Theatre Workshop of Wilmington proudly presents Disney’s Frozen Jr. on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 7pm and Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 1pm in the Wilmington High School Joanne Benton Auditorium. Tickets to the show, which feature middle school-age students, cost $10. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online HERE.
#2) Giant Yard Sale At Tewksbury Senior Center To Fund Jim Miceli Memorial Bunch
The Friends of the Elderly are holding a GIANT YARD SALE on Saturday, July 20, 2019, from 9am to 2pm, at the Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street). Proceeds from the event will benefit a Memorial Bench in honor of the late State Representative Jim Miceli. Admission is free. Baked goods and luncheon items will also be sold.
#3) Apollo 11 Film Screening At Wilmington Library
The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a film screening of Apollo 11 at 2:30pm. Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing by watching the documentary, Apollo 11, crafted from a newly discovered trove of 65mm footage, and more than 11,000 hours of uncatalogued audio recordings, the film takes viewers straight to the heart of NASA’s most celebrated mission, the one that first put men on the moon, and forever made Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin into household names. The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding its monthly Poetry Circle at 9:15am. Do you enjoy writing poetry? Want input on your work? If so, this group is for you.
