POLICE LOG for July 14: Unlocked Vehicles Entered Overnight; Trouble At Group Home; Street Sign & Mailbox Vandalized

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, July 14, 2019:

  • A caller stated a white van on 93 South near Exit 38 was swerving and had no lights on. Police checked area and could not located. Reading Police notified. (12:02am)
  • A treadmill and rowing machine were dumped in the Walgreen’s paring lot. Police notified DPW for pickup. (12:58am)
  • Police located a missing juvenile from Milestone Group Home. (1:48am)
  • Police came across an operator pumping gas at the closed Shell Gas Station. Operator paid for the gas. Police will follow up with station in the morning. (2:59am)
  • A Carter Lane caller reported someone overnight pulled his mailbox out of the ground. (9:13am)
  • Police noticed the Blue Jay Court street sign is missing. DPW notified. (10:29am)
  • A hit and run was reported in the Target parking lot. (12:05pm)
  • A caller reported his unlocked vehicle on Main Street was entered overnight and a phone charger was taken. (1:04pm)
  • An employee at the Milestone Group Home reported three juveniles just left the program without permission. (3:37pm)
  • A High Street resident reported two unlocked vehicles were entered and gone through overnight. It appears nothing was taken. (8:19pm)
