#1) Concert on the Common: Jimmy & The Jesters
After last night’s rainout, the 2019 Wilmington Concerts on the Common series (hopefully) continues tonight from 6:30pm to 8pm, with Jimmy & The Jesters.
Jimmy “Mr. Rock & Roll” Merrick and The Jesters specialize in the oldies and classic country tunes the way you remember them. Come out and see why this group is a fan favorite.
Admission is free of charge. Bring your chairs/blankets and relax to the sweet sounds of summer. The Wilmington Band Parents Association will be selling concessions.
Additional concerts will take place on July 24 (BackTrack) and July 31 (60’s Invasion).
#2) Wilmington Water & Sewer Commission Meeting

#3) Kat & Brad: Sun, Moon, and Stars!
The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a concert at 2:30pm. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, Brad Bensko on vocals and guitar and Kathleen Parks on vocals, violin, and mandolin bring you the sounds of 50’s & 60’s pop and American Songbook standards featuring tunes such as Stardust, Moon River, and Fly Me to the Moon plus originals from their first LP of original material. #4) Time For Twos At Wilmington Library
The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding Time for Twos at 10:30am. This storytime for two year olds includes books, rhymes, music and movement. Parents and caregivers accompany the child and participate in the activities. Space is limited. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
#5) Baby Time At Wilmington Library
The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding Baby Time at 9:30am. This program of songs, rhymes, games and picture books is for babies under the age of two years and their caregivers. Space is limited. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
