WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Recreation Department is holding an 8-week Upholstery Workshop on Thursday nights this fall — Thursday, September 19, 2019 through Thursday, November 14, 2019 (no class on Halloween), from 6:30pm to 9:30pm — in the Town Hall Auditorium.
Give new life to a piece of your old furniture by learning to reupholster. You’ll cover your piece with new fabric, learn to tie springs and re-pad. A supply list will be provided as your project progresses. Be aware – you will have homework! The class motto is “If you can carry it, bring it!”
The workshop, taught by instructor Louise Redcast, costs $75.
If you have any questions or want to register, please visit the Recreation Department’s (http://www.wilmingtonma.gov/recreation), stop by Town Hall Room 8, or call the Department at 978-658-4270.
