About Nan’s Circle Of Hope
Nan’s Circle of Hope Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization started to honor the life and career of JoEllyn Ryan Sullivan. JoEllyn and her family have lived in Wilmington for over 30 years. She graduated from Mount Auburn School of Nursing and has been a registered nurse with Mount Auburn Hospital for 41 years working in a variety of areas, including surgical, oncology and telemetry. Given her vast experience and compassionate outlook, she mentored many young nurses entering the profession from school. She was awarded the Preceptor of the Year award for her efforts. She was well respected by all members of the Mount Auburn team, from the medical assistants to the hospital executives, because of her dedication and work ethic. Her career was cut short by a diagnosis of cancer in April of 2016.
Nan’s Circle of Hope Foundation will raise money to benefit local students entering the medical profession. Multiple scholarships will be given each year to seniors who reside in Wilmington and students who attend Shawsheen Regional Technical High School. Our goal is to honor JoEllyn’s passion for helping others throughout her life. If you would like to help future graduates, please visit our website HERE.
