WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, July 1, 2019:
- Police issued a citation to a driver for failure to stop for emergency vehicles at Main Street and Oakwood Road. (5:06am)
- Animal Control Officer responded to report of an injured baby raccoon on Day Street. (12:48pm)
- A caller reported a male party in a white SUV was screaming and threatening a neighbor on Adams Street. Resident did not want to pursue and acknowledged he exchanged words with operator of a vehicle over speeding. (5:38pm)
- John H. Burgess, (34, Lynn) was arrested for OUI Drugs. A caller reported a blue station wagon drove up and over a curb at Woburn Street and Marie Drive. Man got out, looked at tire, and now appears to be asleep in the vehicle. Police responded. Man refused a medical transport. (7:31pm)
- Water Department reported an Ox Bow Drive resident tapped into a hydrant and damaged it. Police responded and noted damage to roadway and hydrant. Resident was advised and removed their hose. Police told resident the Water Department would determine penalties. (8:59pm)
- Fire and Police responded to ammonia leak at Monogram Foods on Ballardvale Street. One woman fainted. (9:23pm)
