POLICE LOG for June 23: Robots Set Off Burglar Alarm; Motorcycle Crash

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, June 23, 2019:

  • Police came across four individuals sitting on the sidewalk in front of Bank of America on Main Street. Individuals were dropped off by an Uber in the wrong location and are waiting for a new Uber. (2:58am)
  • A vehicle struck a sign at Lowell Street and Main Street. Mass Highway notified of sign damage. Vehicle towed. (3:38am)
  • Police responded to a burglar alarm at Locus Robotics on Ballardvale Street. Rear door was unsecured. Police did a walk through and noted a couple of robots were moving on their own. Keyholder was called to site to address situation. (12:50pm)
  • Police was made aware of a past motorcycle crash on Chestnut Street. A man crashed his motorcycle and was picked up by someone and taken to the Lahey with head and shoulder injuries. Man will receive a verbal warning for speeding. (10:18pm)
