Wilmington Library’s Touch-A-Truck Program Rescheduled To Monday, June 24

WILMINGTON, MA — The library’s “Big Trucks” (aka “Touch-A-Truck”) program, originally scheduled for Friday, June 21, 2019, was postponed due to a rainy forecast.

This popular program — open to all ages — will now take place on Monday, June 24, 2019, from 10am to noon, in the library’s lower parking lot.

Vehicles from the Town of Wilmington’s Department of Public Works, Fire Department, and Police Department will be on display. Come check out fire engines, construction vehicles, police cars and more! Climb inside and ask their operators questions.

Overflow parking is available at Wilmington High School and Town Common Parking Lot.

The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door will be open from 10am to 1pm that morning, so stop by for a new-to-you book after visiting the trucks.
