POLICE LOG for June 18: Kids Playing On Train Tracks; Train Strikes Deer

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, June 18, 2019:

  • Police received report of kids playing on the tracks behind Dunkin Donuts on Main Street. Police responded. Juveniles and their parents were advised. (3:06pm)
  • A Jacquith Road resident reported cars speeding on the road during this time of the day. Caller requested extra traffic patrols. (5:10pm)
  • A resident reported a dead deer on the train tracks off Kilmarnock Street. Amtrac notified. Animal moved off tracks. Animal Control Officer notified. (5:58pm)
  • Police attempted to stop a gray SUV on Aldrich Road for excessive music and trying 20 MPH over the speed limit. Vehicle took off towards Burlington Avenue. Wilmington Police notified Burlington Police. (10:18pm)
