#1) Wilmington Ice Rink & Recreation Facility Committee Meeting

The Wilmington Ice Rink & Recreation Facility Committee meets at 7pm in Town Hall’s Room 9. Read the agenda HERE.

#2) State Senator Bruce Tarr’s Office Hours

A representative from State Senator Bruce Tarr’s Office will be at the Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) from 11am to noon to answer any questions or concerns you may have.  No appointment is necessary, just stop by for a quick visit.

#3) Coffee With A Cop At Wilmington Library

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a Coffee With A Cop from 10am to 11am. Drop in, grab a tea or coffee, and chat with a police officer. Learn about the rights of the public as well as the roles and responsibilities of Police and Community in a relaxed and open setting. All questions welcome.

#4) “Drive-In Movie” At Wilmington Library

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a “Drive-In Movie” for ages 3-6 at 6:30pm. Join us as we make and decorate cars out of large cardboard boxes. Afterwards, we’ll eat popcorn inside our cars as we watch The Magic School Bus “Gets Lost in Space” at our own Drive-In Movie Theater! Each child will need an adult to assist them. Register HERE.

#5) Car Seat Installs At Public Safety Building

The Wilmington Police Department offers safety seat installs at the Wilmington Public Safety Building (1 Adelaide Street) every Wednesday, 10am-2pm. No appointment is necessary, but calling ahead at 978-658-5071 is recommended. Learn more HERE.

  1. It would be a hoot if the vote tonight for Chairperson of the Ice Rink Committee results in a tie! It’s possible since there are 10 members.
