#1) Wilmington Pop Warner Fundraiser At Fuddruckers
From 5pm to 8pm, Fuddruckers — inside Jordan’s Furniture in Reading — will donate 20% of your bill to Wilmington Pop Warner. So, take a break from cooking, skip the dishes, and eat out to support Wilmington’s young football players and cheerleaders.
Make sure to print out the voucher below and present it to the cashier upon payment.
#2) RMLD Solar Workshop
Reading Municipal Light Department (RMLD) invites residential, commercial, and municipal customers to attend a free Solar Workshop at 7pm at RMLD Headquarters (230 Ash Street, Reading). The workshop will be held at the start of RMLD’s regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners meeting. A reception with light refreshments and informational displays will be held in the lobby beginning at 6:30 pm.
Topics to be covered include:
- An overview of solar energy production and the economics of solar (system pricing, available incentives and rebates, etc.)
- Existing RMLD solar programs (Customer Owned Generation Rate, Solar Choice Program)
- Potential future solar garden
- A comprehensive overview of the solar installation process
Customers who wish to attend are asked to register online HERE for planning purposes. A recording of the workshop will be aired on the local community television stations and posted on www.rmld.com as soon as it is available.
#3) Wilmington Elderly Services Commission Meeting
The Wilmington Elderly Services Commission meets at 1:30pm at the Senior Center. Read the agenda HERE.

The Wilmington Water & Sewer Commission meets at 5pm in the Town Hall’s Room 9. Read the agenda HERE.
#5) Red Cross Blood Drive At Congregational Church
The Wilmington Congregational Church (220 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a Red Cross Blood Drive from 2pm to 7pm. Drop-ins welcome, but registrations strongly suggested. Learn more HERE.
