WILMINGTON, MA — In the latest episode of WCTV’s “Ordinary People, Extraordinary Hearts,” hosts Jomarie O’Mahony and Jesse Fennelly recognize Margie Dunlap, a WHS Business Teacher and DECA Advisor. Dunlap is the brainchild of the school’s new service learning class, which integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection. Her students completed service projects that benefited Wilmington non-profits and other local charitable endeavors.
Dunlap received the “Ordinary People, Extraordinary Hearts” award from We’re One Wilmington for the month of April. This new award recognizes individuals who spread kindness and positivity in the Wilmington community. Dunlap was nominated by a parent of a student.
