POLICE LOG for June 11: Teen Goes Missing From Group Home; More Turtle Issues; Construction Vehicle Towed

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, June 11, 2019:

  • Police notified Mass Highway that the lights are on flash at the Route 38 and Route 62 intersection. (1:56am)
  • An Andover Street caller reported a party trespassing on his property. (10:12am)
  • Police requested a tow for construction vehicle parked on the roadway on Treasure Hill Road that is revoked for insurance. (10:55am)
  • Animal Control Officer concerned that a turtle is laying eggs in residents’ bushes on Sheridan Road. Resident will call if turtle continues towards street. (12:26pm)
  • A caller reported a group of kids dragging a turtle by a rope and kicking it. Police responded. Not as reported. Kids were trying to get turtle off of the roadway. Turtle appeared uninjured. (1:01pm)
  • A juvenile was reported missing from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. (8:59pm)
