This week’s episode of HGTV’s popular show, “My Lottery Dream Home,” makes a stop in Wilmington.
The episode, entitled “Make Me A Millionaire,” will air nationally on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 9pm (EST).
“Make Me A Millionaire” is described as follows: “A couple’s big win was the break they desperately needed to move out of their cramped basement rental and give their two children a better life. David Bromstad helps them search the suburbs outside Boston for the perfect family dream home with lots of elbow room and a yard big enough for a swing set and pool.”
In addition to visiting a home for sale in Wilmington, this episode has another tie to the town. The couple featured in the episode — Nicholas Rocco and his fiancee Jenna — purchased their winning lottery ticket in Wilmington.
Rocco, of Medford, was a recent grand prize winner in the Massachusetts Lottery’s “The Fast Road To $1 Million” instant ticket game. He purchased his winning ticket at the Wilmington Nouria inside the Shell Gas Station at the Main Street/Lowell Street split. Rocco chose to receive his prize in the form one a one-time payment of $650,000, less tax withholdings.
