WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Board of Selectmen meets this Monday, June 10, 2019 at Town Hall (Room 9) at 7pm.
There are some noteworthy items on the agenda, including:
- Selectmen will hear a department update from Recreation Director Karen Campbell
- Selectmen will hear from Frank West of the Wilmington Minutemen about the upcoming Flag Retirement Ceremony
- Town Manager Jeff Hull will provide Selectmen an update on the Wilmington Childhood Cancer Study
- Town Manager Jeff Hull will share the letter the town recently sent to EPA regarding the Olin Chemical Superfund Site
- Town Engineer Paul Alunni will provide an update on the preliminary cost estimate for a water main installation on Cook Avenue
- Town Manager Jeff Hull will provide an update on the feasibility of upgrading the practice softball field on Wildwood Street to a full, regulated softball field
- Town Manager Jeff Hull will share the letter the town recently sent to members of the new Ice Rink and Indoor Recreation Facility Committee
- Selectmen will consider the request of Library Director Tina Stewart to use the Swain Green on Thursday, August 15, 2019, from 5pm to 7pm, for the library’s Annual Summer Bash
- Selectmen will consider issuing a Sunday Entertainment License to Cushing Amusements in conjunction with the Fourth of July celebration
- Selectmen will consider whether to establish a Town Meeting Review Committee or direct the Inhabitant Bylaw Committee to prepare a recommendation on the date and time for Annual Town Meeting
