POLICE LOG for June 6: Women Fighting Or Just Watching The Bruins?; Package Stolen From Porch; Coyote Sighting

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, June 6, 2019:

  • A bed liner and tailgate fell out of someone’s truck and is currently in the driveway of a Glen Road house. DPW notified Police. (10:37am)
  • Animal Control Officer retrieved injured baby goose from Benevento Sand & Stone on Salem Street and brought to Tufts Veterinary Hospital. (10:47am)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout with two kids in the backseat at the Learning Experience. (4:50pm)
  • A Boyle Street resident reported a package was stolen from her front porch today. (5:35pm)
  • Police issued a written warning to a driver for causing gridlock at an intersection on Richmond Street. (6:02pm)
  • A caller reported a group of motorcycles tailgating cars and driving aggressively on Aldrich Road. Police were unable to locate. There’s been ongoing complaints about this group. (6:21pm)
  • A Wildwood Street caller reported a coyote chasing two dogs that are running loose. Caller can hear yelping in her backyard. Police responded, but was unable to locate the coyote or dogs. (8:40pm)
  • Police received report of a loud argument in the Nickerson Avenue area. Police responded. There was a verbal argument and police restored the peace. (10:53pm) Once the officers left, the caller called back to report the parties were still fighting inside the house. Police responded. Two female parties were having a loud conversation. They stated they were watching the hockey game and things got animated. (11:10pm)
