POLICE LOG for June 3: Dog Injured In Highway Rollover; Bike Tossed Into Silver Lake; Baby Goose Hurt

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, June 3, 2019:

  • Andover Police responded to a crash on 93 North in Andover prior to Exit 45. The vehicle rolled over. A dog was in the vehicle and suffered a possible broken leg. Andover contacted the Wilmington Animal Control Officer for the dog. The officer retrieved the dog and dropped off at the Bulger Veterinary Hospital in North Andover. (12:08am)
  • A caller reported a bicycle was thrown off the pier at Silver Lake into the water. Police notified DPW. (9:20am)
  • A caller reported an injured baby goose at Benevento Sand & Stone on Salem Street. Tufts Vet Center told Animal Control Officer to leave goose in its current location and monitor it. (11:55am)
  • Animal Control Officer responded to Winchester Family Medical Center due to report of a large turtle in front of entrance. Turtle was moved prior to officer’s arrival. (1:47pm)
