POLICE LOG for May 31: Driver Threatens To Kill Resident; Car Keyed; Reports Of Man Carrying Baby On 93 Not What It Seems

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, May 31, 2019:

  • A 3-vehicle crash took place at Route 62 and the 93 North Exit 40 ramp. All vehicles towed. Two parties transported by Fire Department. State Police handled scene. (7:23am)
  • State Police requested assistance after report of a male walking north on 93 North before Exits 39 and 40 wearing no shirt and carrying a baby.  Police responded. A citizen had just stopped to help change a tire on a disabled vehicle. (11:25am)
  • A Christine Drive caller stated a small silver sedan with New Hampshire plates came flying down her street. When she asked him to slow down, the male operator – wearing no shirt – stated that he would come back and “kill her.” Police received two additional calls regarding same vehicle with the driver and female passenger arguing. Police notified Tewksbury Police for well-being check. Peace was eventually restored. (4:40pm)
  • A caller reported his father’s car was keyed in the Market Basket parking lot. (8:07pm)
