WILMINGTON, MA — A new sex offender for Wilmington has been added to the state’s Sex Offender Registry this week.

John P. DiNitto was convicted on one count of rape in April 2017.

He is classified as a Level 2 Sex Offender. “Level 2” indicates a moderate risk of re-offending and a moderate degree of danger to the public.

DiNitto is a 39-year-old white male. He’s 5’6″, 156 lbs, with brown eyes and no hair.

He lives in Medway, but has a secondary address at 12 Hillside Way in Wilmington. A “secondary address” includes all the addresses of all places where a sex offender lives, abides, lodges, or resides for a period of 14 or more days in the aggregate during any calendar year and which is not a sex offender’s primary address; or a place where a sex offender routinely lives, abides, lodges, or resides for a period of 4 or more consecutive or nonconsecutive days in any month and which is not a sex offender’s permanent address, including any out-of-state address.
