WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, May 26, 2019:
- Police noticed a vehicle on the side of the road near the 93 North Exit 41 on-ramp. Flashlight seen in woods. State Police notified. Parties said they were looking for their cellphone in the woods. Parties got back in their vehicle and were on their way. (2:47am)
- A caller reported locating a bag of pills lying on the side of the road on Broad Street. Police responded. Bag wasn’t full of pills, but screw caps for decking. Police will dispose. (1:33pm)
- Fire Department and police reported to possible brush fire on Blanchard Road. Officers located a fire pit. Fire Department checked that it was properly maintained and monitored. (8:50pm)
- Police dispersed several cars with teenagers from the Fourth of July Building parking lot. (8:53pm)
- Police noted that lights at Middlesex Ave & Federal Street intersection will all turn red, and crosswalk will activate without anyone pressing the button. Police notified DPW. (9:55pm)
