POLICE LOG for May 19: Driver Issued Summons; Car Crashes Into Median On Highway; Syringe Found

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, May 19, 2019:

  • Police noted a suspicious vehicle on the side of the road on Lowell Street. Operator was an Uber driver taking a cigarette break. (1:04am)
  • Police issued a written warning for failure to pull to the right for an emergency vehicle for a driver on Lowell Street. (2:14am)
  • Jamie Alexander Cortez-Carrillo (34, Acton) was issued a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle and Speeding. (7:07am)
  • State Police and Fire Department responded to vehicle in the median on 93 South. Fire Department obtained two refusals. (11:31am)
  • A caller reported a neighbor appeared to have thrown powder all over the hallway in Avalon Oaks. A second caller reported the same issue. (12:52pm)
  • Police off with two juveniles that crashed into each other on their bicycles near Aprile Field on Main Street. Juveniles suffered minor injuries. Mother responded to take bikes and custody of children. Medical attention was refused. (4:53pm)
  • Police located a syringe in the rocks near the platform in the MBTA Parking Lot on Main Street. (7:19pm)
