POLICE LOG for May 10: Road Rage Incident; Suspicious Activity On Silver Lake; Landscaping Trucks Causing Traffic Concerns

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, May 10, 2019:

  • A disabled vehicle was towed from Lowell Street after trucks were having trouble getting in and out of D&D Mulch. (8:52am)
  • A service dog got loose from a vehicle at the Registry of Motor Vehicles on Middlesex Avenue. Animal Control Officer was able to rescue dog and returned it to owner in Woburn. (11:07am)
  • Police advised landscaping trucks that they were blowing the roadway on West Street, Butters Row, and Church Street. Vehicles were moved. (11:42am, 11:52am, 12:24pm)
  • Durum Chigozie Alarms (25, Chelsea) was issued a summons for Unregistered Motor Vehicle and Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Alarms was involved in a minor crash in a parking lot on Main Street. (12:53pm)
  • Police responded to a possible road rage incident on Main Street. One driver was issued a citation for a  marked lanes violation. (12:56pm)
  • An anonymous Lake Street resident reported a boat with bright lights on lake near her neighbor’s boat. Resident is concerned because things have previously been stolen form her neighbor’s boat. Police responded. Boat operator was advised not to shine lights towards houses. He checked OK — was just fishing. (10:30pm)
