POLICE LOG for May 3: Wilmington Woman Arrested For OUI; Truck Fire

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, May 3, 2019:

  • Police assisted Tewksbury with a car vs. vehicle at South Street and Main Street in Tewksbury. Operator fled on foot. (1:25am)
  • A caller reported a propane tank was left in the middle of the parking lot near the Fourth of July Building. Police responded. Tank was a helium tank. Police noted lots of trash in the lot. Tank was brought back to the station. (4:55am)
  • The DEA retrieved two federal prisoners from the Public Safety Building. (7:29am)
  • Police received a call to check on a man on Chestnut Street who activated his rescue pendant. Dispatch reached the man who said there was no emergency; he was just testing the pendant. (12:42pm)
  • Fire and State Police responded to a truck fire on Route 125. No injuries noted. (1:26pm)
  • A Fenway Street neighbor reported residents were having a party, had cars on both sides of the road, and guests refused to move vehicles. Police responded. Vehicles would be moving shortly after prom photos were taken. (3:30pm)
  • Police assisted with traffic at the High School for the promenade. (4:07pm)
  • Jennifer A. Reppucci (45, Wilmington) was arrested for OUI Liquor and Possession Of An Open Container Of Alcohol In A Motor Vehicle. A caller reported Reppucci was in the Speedway parking lot and unsteady on her feet, appearing to be drinking liquor. (5:26pm)
  • Manager at 99 Restaurant reported an unruly customer was trying to pick fights at the bar. Individual left prior to police arrival. (11:33pm)
