POLICE LOG for May 2: Syringe Found; Disabled Vehicles

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, May 2, 2019:

  • A caller reported a syringe found on the footpath crossing over the railroad tracks on the Main Street station. Police retrieved the syringe and brought it to the station for disposal. (8:01am)
  • Police disposed of a deceased groundhog from a Hillside Way property. (9:38am)
  • Fire Department responded to an oven fire on Beeching Avenue. (4:22pm)
  • Police out with a disabled vehicle on 93 North Exit 40 ramp. Vehicle ran out of a gas. (6:22pm)
  • Police out wit ha disabled vehicle on Salem Street. Vehicle popped a tire after striking a pot hole on the North Reading side of the town line. (9:58pm)
